CP-251 or another Mooger?

I play guitar. Currently I have the Ring Mod and MURF, would I be better served getting a CP-251 or another Mooger pedal like the MF-103?
Am I missing out on something amazing without a CP-251? Are the additional combinations that usable for guitar?
How good is the Phaser (I already have a Pigtronix, which admittedly is more of an envelope filter).
Thanks

Sorry,
I can't answer your question, but I got a couple for you!
How is your MurF ? Is it really that usefull with guitar - and is it worth the (very high) price? I wonder how it would sound with a fender rhodes piano...

The CP-251 is an amzing addition. I like it best with the MF-101.
The Phaser is amazing. I had the pigtronix for a while and compared it to the Moog phaser. The moog kicked it's muhfuh ass out the door! Btw, with the MF-101 and the MF-103 you can take the Env. out from the MF-101 and plug it into the Sweep in on the MF-103 and get Enveloped Phase like the pigtronix...sounds different than the pigtronix and better imo.
So the answer is....get the moog phaser, sell the pigtronix, then buy the MF-101 and start saving for the CP-251.

MURF on a rhodes is interesting. Better w/ a bass or guitar. Requires deeper diggin to find good use w/ rhodes. Ring Mod or Phaser is much mo betta for the Rhodes. Either of those and/or a Wah wah.
I'm considering the CP251 myself as well...I have a feeling the sh*t's gonna hit the fan once I do!!! haha!
yoYo!
