Hi

Anyone know where to get one of these carry bags in the UK or Europe?

http://www.moogmusic.com/detail.php?main_product_id=43&

They dont sell them in Turnkey for some reason. Could import from the US but trying locally first..

Thanks,

Hi!

Try http://www.emc-de.com, they are great! I bought my Voyager AE from EMC last year and got it €220 cheaper and faster then if I would have bought it here in Sweden.

Kind regards

Turnkeys don't sell them as they have 'moog' branded all over them.

I got one with my Voayager SE, direct from moog, which they no longer do but in my opinion you would be better off with a poly case or better still an anvil flightcase . . I lifted up my Voyager in the padded gig bag slightly more enthusiastically then I should perhaps have, and the stitching all around the straps gave away . . about 4 inches into the main bag.

I suspected it was the 'Moog' writing.. I appreciate your comments about getting a hard case but it is only for a single jouney I am due to make. Maybe if I start gigging with it then ill get a hardcase..

Thanks,

GIG BAGS?

If I put out the kind of money a Voyager costs, NO WAY would I put it in a soft bag of ANY kind to carry to a gig. As previously posted, get yourself an anvil case, or some other kind of hard shell case to protect your investment. I have vintage KB's that are twenty five years old and look almost as good as the day I bought them because I always moved them in hard shell cases. Anvil's have traditionally been the most solid, as well as the most expensive, but there's a reason for it. Their hardware (like handles and latches) doesn't fail after YEARS of use and life on the road. You can get a less expensive one for "local" use these days to save some money, but forget GIG BAGS. DUH!
