Voyager as MIDI master keyboard

Hi everyone,

I couldn't find this topic in the archives--my apologies if this is redundant.

Is anyone using the Voyager as a master MIDI controller in their rig? As much as I would love to afford the Voyager purely for it's analog functionality, it would help if it could also replace one or two of my MIDI keyboards. I need a keyboard to be a MIDI master for all my softsynths, modules, etc.

Thanks for any feedback on the usability, effectiveness, and overall functionality of the Voyager as a MIDI master keyboard. Also, what is the maximum MIDI polyphony of the Voyager's MIDI output?

Do you really make shoes? Anyways, I use my Voyager to record its own MIDI into my Cubase set-up, and occasionally to interfere with a friend using another keyboard via MIDI (playing their board via the Voyager). You can turn the local off so you can control other things without the Voyager sounding. As for polyphony, I just opened MIDI-OX and held my sleeve down across the keyboard and got an arms length of MIDI data, so I'd guess its sufficient

Well right now im using the MMV as a master midi control in the way that I midi out to my prophet 600 then have the audio from the prophet come into the voyagers filter , i havent tested the max midi poly but i can say ive double handed the biggest chords i could stretch and it worked so im sure its sufficent.Werks just fine for softsynths sequencing etc. Personally im very excited to see if the new update has midi CC for all the voyager knobs, at that point i would definetly say YES USE AS MASTER hahah, they say its in development but who knows.

Hope that helps some 8)
