scratchy sound in my Minitaur

Got my Minitaur a week ago and its a great synth, i really love the sound and feel liberated by no menu's and no screens, but i had a few issues that i hope i can clear up.
1 - I noticed a scratchy type sound that is always present when woking in the low bass ranges and its always there and im not sure if this is normal for a analog synth like this,
here is a link to a Soundcloud file that you can hear it on, for demo purposes i made a basic kick type sound

i dont have USB connected when i do this test and i disconnected things one at a time to see if it was caused from any any other source and it wasent. is this normal for a Minitaur ?
2 - I also notice i have a very bad digital noise when i connect the USB cable to my Mac and its unusable to record with so i mapped my controller with the most important parameters and just connect to USB when i want to save a preset, even if i disconnect my MacBooks power supply at the wall i still get the digital noise
Basically i was left with just the Minitaurs power supply plugged and USB to the MacBook Pro on battery and it was still there, my audio interface is a Firebox and its buss powered, so its isolated to the Mintuars power supply in my opinion, has anyone else solved this ? maybe a new power supply ?
basically as soon as i plug the Minitaurs power supply into the wall (not plugged into the minitaur yet) with my speakers turned up i hear the noise, when i plug it into the Minitaur the noise clears up but then i connect the USB cable to a computer and its back.
other than this its a awesome synth and im glad i got it
