So I don't get this. Just updated like everyone else and am getting crashes. Deleted the app like was suggeste and went to "purchased items" in the App store and it's not there! The app store let me update, so what gives. Looked at itunes and showed the app in my library, so I restored it that way.

So I updated it again, again it doesn't work, and again it doesn't show up in the App store as a purchased item.

Is this because I bought it when it first came out with that great sale?

And I bought the devine set. It's now missing from the library. I see from the Moog store that the button says I purchased it, but if I press the button it doesn't ask me if I want to download it, it asks me if I want to purchase it for $2.99.

This will all get sorted out, right?

OK sorted out and a little embarrassed. I never knew this but you can make your purchases invisible in the app store. If you swipe the app when you are trying to swipe to move to the next page it asks if you want to hide it. I must have done this a while ago without realizing it.

Anyway, made Animoog visible in app store. Deleted older version and installed latest version. This now works, and I was able to restore my purchased library from the newest version.

Yes, i have done that on several occasions also.
Okay, how did you make the app visible in the app store again?
