RME features new presets

Was reading through the RME User Manual (no, I don't own one - yet!). You can download it here:

http://moogmusic.com/manuals/rme_manual_1.pdf

The manual contains a list of the new RME presets. They were developed by Moog Music, Nigel Hopkins, Brain Kehew, and Will Alexander (Keith Emerson's keyboard tech).

Will's contributions include a preset called 'From the Beginning', which is presumably the solo sound used by Emo at the end of the song 'From the Beginning' (from Trilogy). I've tried unsuccessfully to program this sound on the Voyager many times. I've gotten close, but never nailed it. It's one of those classic analog synth patches that has been a 'holy grail' sound for me. Supposedly, the original was programmed on a modular. Cool if Will's patch is the same as the original.

Hopefully these sounds will get posted soon for all Voyager owners to enjoy!

LWG -

Save your patch and consider posting it online. You can't post here, but you can post files over at the Yahoo Groups Voyager page:

http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/mmvoyager/

You must be a member, but joining is easy. Not much activity there unfortunately (it's all here), but at least there is space to submit a patch.
