On the drive home I heard this great old song - I know that they used a Moog on the album for bass but what synth is the lead on this as it isn't specifically referred to other than "synth".

Not to say that it isn't - it could well be, but I have to admit to thinking it sounded 'bigger' than just a Model D. I suppose in the studio it could have been fattened up even more but I thought modular.

A quicky google search yielded lots of Moog references, but I didn't see any actual gear list. I made a decent version of that on the Voyager, but it definately gives way next to the original.

Definitely a model D.
Howard Leese, Heart's guitarist and keyboard player is well known for using the Minimoog on this and other songs.

thanks for the replies, I just wondered why it specifically stated using the Moog for baselines and then synth separtately was wondering if I was missing something. I remember seeing them live in the late 70's and having a mini onstage and an assortment of other kybs.

He also used an Arp Odyssey, I think a first version one.
