Minitaur as a midi-controlled adsr/trem?

I know it might be lame to do this, but I was wondering if you could use the minitaur as a midi-controlled adsr? I assume you could also do this with the gate function, and get a tremolo out of it?
I'm sending cv to a philosopher king, to have synced adsr style stuff. But I was thinking that having a midi-synced adsr and filter would be well worth $500.
