One thing I've just become curious about is the actual name, Moog Music Incorporated.

Moog is a developer of musical instruments, right? I've always thought of a Music company as a business that records and / or distributes music on paper, or in audio form. Has anyone else in this forum thought of this fact?

Moog builds synthesizers, Theremins and signal processors. Don't you people think that the company should be called Moog Musical Instruments Incorporated, instead? Otherwise, I recommend that they consider endorsing and distributing the music of up-and-comming musicians.

Moog produce music… they helped/helps musicians compose and produce music. There instruments and the musician’s creativity create music… moog music. 8)

I think record companies usually have the word "Records" in their name, like Columbia Records or Epic Records, but not always.
