New Moog Poly

Has moog expressed any interest in building a poly synth? I know they are geared towards mono, but I was thinking they did create a few poly's back in the day, could be wrong about that.

What about a polyphonic modular or a modular polyphonic. Or a polymodular monophone. Or a modularphonic monopoly. Or a monomodularic poly-modmono with paraphonic modulations.

Haha. I think what unfiltered37 is trying to say is; this subject has been discussed ad nauseam already on this forum.
Just check this thread, amongst many others...

I actually have a Korg Monopoly, but it's only paraphonic, not modularphonic...

William Turner in Pirates of the Caribbean said it best when he said,
"
THAT'S NOT GOOD ENOUGH!"

Yes, but I doubt you have a Moogphonic monomodularic paramodular augmented with the dual polyelectro-oscillophone flexpander.

Moog doesn't express interest in building things....they just build them and we either like it or we don't.
People have been clamoring on the forum for years about several things, a modular, a polysynth, new cp251 sized units, new foogers, hence the jokes to your question.
If they do decide to do it, we won't know about it until it's well into the prototype stages and it gets close to a NAMM, and maybe we will get a hint or a music store will leak a picture of it.
Maybe, they will offer a preorder program where we can buy it sight unseen like they did the Taurus III.
One thing is for sure....if they build a polysynth it will be extremely expensive....probably moreso than the Voyager XL, so theres too many market factors to consider.

I'm pretty sure asking about a Moog poly was one of the main write in questions on that Facebook survey they had heh

Im proud to say I don't partake in facebook, but I have noticed that Moog has stopped announcing pretty much everything here and by viewing moogs facebook page you can keep up with the latest.
I thought we would be the first to know stuff since were loyal, but they get the message out better their way I suppose.

It would be so fantastic if they created a new poly! It would be so exciting to see a new memorymoog suddenly pop up on the moog website, I'd order that right away!

Actually, Roland made a fantastic synthesizer long time ago called Paraphonic, curious name
