VOYAGER MIDI FUN

Ok.
This is the deal. I have a MOTU Fastlane USB Midi device. There is A IN/OUT, and B IN/OUT.
I have the MIDI OUT from the Moog going to the MOTU A IN, and the MIDI IN from the Moog going to the MOTU A OUT.
When I setup cubase sx
I have 1 Midi track that says Input FASTLANE A, and OUTPUT FASTLANE B.
THen I add a Audio Mono track which is read in from the Audio i/o card.
I can record the midi fine, but it won't playback the midi into the moog.
So how do I get the moog to play back from cubase?
Also.. will all my knob adjustments be recorded as well? Including anything I do on the touch pad? or is the pitch, modwheel, and keys the only recorded midi data?
I am still a tad new, but not an idiot.
Thanks for any help!!!
