BTW next purchase will hopefully be a Steel Guitar Black Box. Or a 106M should that come along about the same time as the necessary flow to complete a transaction.

I bought a q119 sequencer (mainly because it was a firesale) but also a Suit-and-Tie-Guy (STG Soundlabs) Time suite including:

- Time Buffer
- Trigger Store
- 3 x Volt Stores
- Shift Manager
- Mixer (Trumansburg faithful circuits)

MU gear lust is endless...

Audio Technica, looks to be a 4040. AT has a great line of mic's. Even the "budget" 2020 sounds nice .

I always liked Blue mics, but AT mics are indeed nice.

Its a 4040, and Novamusik didn't have it on their webpage, ordered it and STILL got me the lowest price ove seen for it!

I got the stand from sweetwater though, much to my sales rep's liking.

Edit: I bought my sister the 2041 studio pack and got to AB them both and they all sounded fantastic. I might have to get the 2041 for myself after I let the synth module bug bite me a few times.

The 2041 is a great value, the 2021 small di mic work very well. I've used them as overheads for drums ( stereo pair), vocal concerts, close mic on several other things. The 2020 also works well to mic amps, voice over work.... I used the 2021's and 2020's when I recorded a friends bar band several years ago. :) I didn't want to take the 4050's into the club :). Only downside to the 2020 and 2021 is they don't have a pad switch or roll off. Still good mic's.

For those of you looking for the best value mics out there check these out:

oktavamod.com

I have the modded small caps I sometime use for overheads (though my amazing coles 4038 ribbons are my main OH's) and a modded mk-319, which sounds as good or better than a Neumann u-87. Amazing mics for very good deals. Got the 319 for $750 I think, but as good as a $3500 top of line large cap condenser for vocals, kick drum, etc. They are decent russian mics to begin with, but his custom capsules and electronics are unbelievable. With mics you can pay as much or as little as you want, but these can hang with the best for midrange prices.

My New Year's resolution for 2012 is not to purchase any more gear and just use what I have. So far so good! :D
But last year I found an old R.A. Moog 912 module for my old R.A. Moog modular. The envelope follower is a nice module to add, though those 60's Moog modules are getting tougher to find. Still looking for an R.A.Moog 911A trigger delay and extra 911 envelope generator to fill out the cabinet.

Good luck! It's always nice to have no blank spaces in your Moog modular.

My two latest purchases, both Moogs, having been already posted, the latest before that is this. My landlord told me : don't you dare get a drum kit in there. I replied I would not, and I am a man of my word. 8)

I was very fortunate to find an immaculate Roland Vocoder vp-330 for next to nothing ! When I was with the seller, a small box sitting in the corner of the room caught my eye. I had no idea what it was, but I asked to him to throw the box into the deal, to which he agreed. Turns out the box in the corner is a Pearl Syncussion sy-1 :D

To go with the Vocoder I bought a EV Blue Raven mic.
