The touch-sensitive strip on the XL has reminded me that I've always wanted one of those on my Voyager Performer Edition.

I'm not assuming Moog would make a retrofit for the Voyager (although that would be awesome) but can anyone recommend a quality CV strip that would work well in the meantime? I prefer one that has maybe a single CV out that I can plug into the back of the Voyager and work much like my EP-2 I'm assuming.

I am using a Walking Stick CV Ribbon by http://www.psionicsoundworks.com .
But they stopped producing them.
I use it in the fully passiv mode.

I also bought a Walkingstick. Mine was somewhat custom and was near the end of when Joe was making them. (I asked for a whitewash finish to match my Old School; Moog style knobs, and additional attenuation and a power supply which can provide > the normally supplied ring voltage).

You can certainly look for one on eBay but a possibly better choice might be this from Doepfer: http://www.doepfer.de/home_e.htm (scroll down and click on "R2M")

If you want the classic wood vibe and 'passive' action as Till suggested, then Doepfer's solution isn't for you. But if you want an automatic GATE, midi capability and other features, then it might be a good choice. There are tons of YouTube videos on that page.

Note that the WalkingStick does not have a triggered GATE, which means that it will only feed position on the ribbon (horizontally) or as measured pressure (if you find that model). I had mine rigged up with a momentary pushbutton with a 3rd 1/4" plug but the Voyager Gate in has little tolerance anything but a specifically shaped pulse so it doesn't work as it should (for me).

If you watch the WalkingStick videos, you'll see the button working just fine. Otherwise it's a nice piece.

It's a shame the Walking Stick is no longer produced, they look very nice.

It looks to be a futuristic style with blue LED lighting up a perpex casing for the controller itself, strangely, looking at youtube examples of it in action - there is a contact/touch pad (I think) for modulation that is at the right-hand end of controller (if you like your pitch going from low to high in a L to R direction) rather than the left hand side that most of us might be used to for a position for modulation wheels etc.
It has midi interface, and the website says "Ribbon has an audio out. It can be turned into a CV/gate controller with an audio cable. Ribbon can control a modular synthesizer directly"
