apple ipad2 ios5 filtatron audio hiss glitches dock input

is anyone having issues with line input while using line input via dock?? i recently updated to ios5 (clean install) and i am getting loud hiss and glitchy audio most of the time. never had this issue with ios4. i am using alesis iodock and ipad2 ios5. seems to mostly be happening while app is in background. occasionally on startup. help! i cant play my shows!!!!
