Ive been putting multiple sources into my ext input using a Y adapter TS cable coming from my DJ mixer with the outputs coming from my patchbay. Can the voyager handle this or am I harming it? I was talking to the guys at the local music store but they weren't much help. Any Ideas? thanks

Summing CV's is bad news. The voltages get too high and damage can occur. You need to use a CV mixer when combining CV's.

dont think we're talking about CVs here....?

'into EXT input' ....I think we're talking audio, yeah ?

the only thing to say is that passively summing audio this way is just not very controllable, or likely to
give you satisfactory results. Summing using a proper mixer (AUX send or Group /Alt out to feed the Moog's EXT in is a simple way ) is much better.

yes audio signals coming from my aux out of my allen and heath xone 32 mixer using a Y TS cable going into my voyager with 2 channels of the 3 coming from the patchbay. I dont understand why (Summing using a proper mixer (AUX send or group/alt out) is more controllable or is much better. I have a mackie 1640i mixer would this be better to use could you explain what you mean maybe with some more examples. how exactly would you set that up? Thanks
