Hi,

I don't know if this will interest many of you, but GForce has just released a demo for its forthcoming minimonsta softsynth. It's a model D emulation but it has loads of extra features. Rick Wakeman seems to have been pretty heavily involved and the included pdf manual has some history, too.

Check it out at:

I think it sounds rather good, although it does make me wish my voyager was polyphonic :)

How does it compare (classic mini sounds) to Arturia's version/the real thing? Looks actually pretty cool....I'd play around with'r. It is too bad softsynths have taken over the innovative evolution from real synths....marketing, research and design, cost effectiveness...to the dogs! I'm dying to see someone take synths to the next step instead of resurecting the past for kicks. money, whatev. New ways to make the same thing...sounds like this generation.

GForce Minimonsta is absolutly fantastic !! One of best soft synths in my opinions sound better than MiniMoog V (at mid ranger) ... sound is more warm .....
Bad news is polyphonic function .. when you switch on polyphonic function my PC is death

ps : Exist site where is possible to get presets for minimoog ?? (as jpg/gif ...atd ) ( I downloaded some old presets for ARP oddysey in JPG - for example )
