CV and gate inputs for LP?

My question to all of the experts,
After upgrading the LP now with CV OUTPUT option,
it might be very interestad to bring some
CV INPUTS to the LP.
Is it possible to realize that modfication in any way?

I tried to get cv ins added at bench rate when my lp was in for the cv out mod 2 months ago. At that time, they were not interested in performing the work. They said it is something they are considering for the future. I had a list of 4 must haves and 4 others I really want.
The mp-201 seems to be the best current solution if you are just looking for modulation of parameters. 14-bit midi is pretty damn smooth, but I still don't know how well the processor in the lp handles it when the midi stream gets dense. If you are looking to integrate it with other cv gear then it is a wait and see or find a tech who might want to give it a go.
I have been planning a test to see how many parameters I can modulate at once via 7-bit midi and 14-bit before the lp craps out, using a sequencer. Anyone else already performed a similar test or found the limitations while playing? I need to know before I shell out the cash for the mp201.
