Help with midi clock and MuRF
Posted: Sun May 01, 2011 8:58 pm
Hey folks-
I'm trying to get my MuRF to follow the tempo of my tune. I want the MuRF to step in 1/8 notes with the tempo.
Seems simple enough, but I'm stumped.
I'm using PT 8.x and a Digi 003 Midi out.
The 003 seems to talk to the MuRF OK, when I run the Moog MuRF application I can access it fine.
Not much luck so far...
Can't figure out what to do with the midi track to get it to spit out a midi clock that the MuRF will recognize.
I have in my studio a Voyager, am thinking there is some way to get the Voyager to spit out a control voltage synced to my track so then I could use that as the step input to my MuRF.
I'm not much of a midi person, so I'm a bit confused...
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks,
David
