hello
Silent Way is a suite of plug-inc designed for use with analogue synthesisers, and especially as part of a modular analogue synthesiser system. The plug-ins produce no sound themselves, nor do they process sound - rather, they generate signals to be used as control voltages (CVs), which can be patched into the control inputs of oscillators, filters, VCAs etc. of an analogue system. Also, with the addition of the CV Input plug-in, it is possible to bring CVs from the synth into the computer, for recording or processing.

who have already use this soft? is this working with the little phatty input?

If you want to control a Phatty you won't really have to take advantage of such a plug-in since it can be controlled by MIDI. The other point is, that a software is not really producing an analoge signal - it will deal with bits - therefore quantized values will be sent what is different to real CV, which generates infinitely variable signals.

I am not sure the resolution on silent way but it could be smoother than midi if there is a higher resolution than 14bit midi. The LPs limited ins would be the main issue. If you had other gear to control with it could be worth it. Otherwise a bit much. The moog mp-201 throws both midi and cv LFOs and could do a lot for controlling the lp externally.

All analog CVs are quantitized; though, at the very high resolution of each individual electron.
