MF101 Envelope Direction Change

Hi there!

I have a MF101 which I really like! The only thing I want to change is the direction of the envelope. I hate the "quacking" sound of downward sweeps, and love the upward sweeps. I know I could use the CP251 to invert the control voltage, but I need the cutoff jack on the 101 connected to my MP201. Even if this could be handled with the CV mixer in the CP251, there is absolutely NO room for it on my pedal board - them foogers are just too big!

Has anybody modified the 101 to change the direction of the envelope sweep? I am good with a soldering iron and am OK with voiding warranties. Iwould be very grateful for any tips on how to do it.

Thanks

Apologies if I'm missing the point... Can't you just use the MP201 with heel position set got and toe position set low (so an inverted expression pedal)?

If you still need the envelope follower, have you considered making a DYI inverter/mixer small
enough for your pedalboard? From what tiny bit i know of enveloper followers reversing
the sweep would probably entail stuffing an inverter circuit inside the 101, might be simpler to
make an external box that inverts the CV and runs on pedalboard power.

A quick search found a schematic for a simple 2-in inverter - http://www5b.biglobe.ne.jp/~houshu/synth/Glide0301.GIF
