made this last night before I went out and wrote my car off. Some dummy ran a red light and I smashed him to bits.

Hey man, that's great, I actually signed up to tell you so! I'm seriously considering getting a LP and your demo has convinced me a huge amount, cos it's very close to the kind of sounds I want to achieve. I have a couple of questions for you:

1) I can hear 2 bass sounds. A nice fat "round" one and a more driving one with a little more treble. Were these both created by the Phatty? If so, awesome.
2) Are the chords at the end made by layering your Phatty? Very smooth, soulful and nice.

Thanks very much for sharing, lovely track.

Thanks for the comment. THe bassline was done with the slim phatty. It is one sound only, and has a little percussive element to it that can barely be heard, but can be heard more clearly near the end of the track at 3:55. The kick is from the korg electrive. There is another sequence of 1/8th notes layered overtop that starts at the begining of the track. These notes are from the SLimphatty too. The small dark pad parts at the begining and very end are from the Juno 106, and the bright pads around 32 bars in are from the nord modular. Then further into the track there are some 1/8th notes that have a slight pitch bending effect and these are also from the slim phatty. So yeah. It's a great synth, now go out and get it!!!
