Do you make Noise with your Moog?

I know this is very subjective so I'll post this link to give you an idea of what I'm talking about.

This is me using my Eurorack modular with many pieces involved as is the case with Eurorack. The whole thing is housed in my MonoRocket Lexington. But no Moog in this video.

This being the case (no pun intended) I've been wondering how many people use their Moog gear for Noise generation as musical expression. I'm considering not using my Lexington for some shows because I'd love to do the Voyager/Fooger run, which creates great noise and fun, a go at the next noise show as all Moog.

Has anyone here done an all Noise Moog show?

Cheers,
thglyph

I haven't gigged with any Moogs but I have recorded what may be considered as "noise". DOn't know if that counts but thought Id mention it because some of my partners are interested in expaning in that area, and they DO noise shows.

I don't know if what I do could be called noise, but it sure as hell is not what I would call a pretty little ditty.

I'm using a Moog Liberation for some free improv/ free jazz type stuff I'm involved in, bass drones, efx, white noise sound, that kind of stuff. Great fun to use, and looks good too!

I've done noise-type improv w/ my Voyager; lots of fun! It's great in conjunction w/ tiny synths or toys: Bleep Labs Thingamagoop, Flower Electronics Little Boy Blue, Nintendo Electrplankton, etc. Check out Hal McGee's stuff for Voyager RME + other weirdness (there's a great deal of his stuff @ archive.org). My band Polymos just put out a recording that has lots of noisy/drone Voyager (and Hartmann Neuron + Wiard 300 series Wogglebug) along with electric banjos (through effects) and basses. It's on iTunes if you want some previews... http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/bright ... d419652702

Not all Moog, but here is a live recording of me goofing off in the studio this morning for a few minutes. Moogs in there are the Voyager, Little Phatty/MF104SD and a Model D along with guest appearences from a few other synths. A Lexicon MX200 was alos used for reverb and aditonal delay.

@Brian - very nce! i really like the sequence that is coming in and out of all the chaos

@just me - how does something so simple as white noise always sound so amazing going through the phaser or murf, or both in this case

Thanks. Arpegiators can be sooooo much fun :). Sequencer too, but there are no sequencer in this track.... maybe the next :).

You can do a lot of cool things with just white noise, calm, warming, dramatic and about 1000 other thigns :).
