Hello! I`m wondering whether the USB connection on the Slim Phatty can deliver power to the controller or do you have to use a controller with a power supply?

No. You don't plug your controller directly into the SP, the USB is for connecting to a computer.

The USB connection is just another way of getting MIDI to your computer and that's it.
