Voyager - split?

Hey!

Title pretty much says it all. Can the keyboard of the Voyager be split, to have one side transmit signal to the Voyager engine, and the other sound to another synthesizer?

May go without saying but if you have a laptop (a Mac for instance) you can use something like Midi Patchbay software (I use v1.2) and turn local control off, then do a split sending part of the keyboard (upper range for instance or even just 1 octave of notes) back into Voyager, then other keys to other Midi devices.

Not as good as something self contained in software but I suppose we can't have it all.

I do this from my Little Phatty to play 'it', and my Taurus 3's at the low end.

I've been looking for a rackmount box that does this and the closest I've been able to find is the MOTU 8x8 Express XT but it's no longer manufactured and does not give the granularity that Midi Patchbay does.

I would contact these guys about the "MIDI Solutions Event Processor" and ask if keyboard splits is one of the functions that would fall under the mapping or filter capabilities of this little gadget.
