SP audio in,midi in

Hello.I just got me the SP and have spent a few hrs on it.Love it.I have 2 questions 1-My gr20 guitar does not work very good at alll with this unit
It should though, i can operate SQ sixtrak with excellent results:)2-The audio in well I get zero results:( I would love to drive the SP with my tenor sax.Any suggestions ? I am going to try a G2M and B2M to drive the SP via these midi to cv units .

Does the Gr 20 have a mono mode? I had a G2M for a while. The latency annoyed me, but I found that I could use an envelope follower the trigger the envelopes faster than the midi and a little glide to smooth out any glitches.

For your question 2: do you mean that you hear no audio at all when plugging an external source in?
If not, remember the SP needs to be 'gated' for the sound to be heard. So either play a key, or get a patch lead and plug it into the Gate In on the back, that will keep the gate wide open. (edit - subject to VCA env settings etc)

Thanx for replys.Ya those g2m/b2m have terrible lag
They get to go back to store.I did plug a patch chord to open gate .prolly wrong input(doh!)I'll insert into KB in then try the audio in with instrument.As for the envelope follower,I will try the Qtron.Thanx again.

Oh ya !The gr-20 works excellent with the SC six trak it also is a mono synth.I need do nothing really just midi in away I go......hmm...I'll need more hrs on the SL.Will check the mono mode on Gr-20 though.
