Closed and dismantled years ago, almost everything sold off. The attendance was too light to pay the bills.

He did have an impressive collection.

I was invited to the opening, but never attended.
I restored several of the synths there.
A lot of Moog modulars, Minis, Emu modulars, etc.

Not enough interest to warrant keeping the place open though.
The value of the synths themselves was escalating faster than any income generated and the collection was sold off.

Peter Forrest publishes (published?) a book on the museum.
Lots of gorgeous color photos.
There's also some videos available of the opening ceremony feature Bob Moog, a tour and some demonstrations of the individual instruments.
You can sometimes find this book / video available on Ebay.

Guess no one really is interested in analogue synthesizers... Moog should go digital.

There may have been more interest if it had had a better location - the middle of nowhere which means car visitors only wasn't the best choice. I mean the guy's a City banker, he should have known what made good business sense. I wanted to go but don't own a car so public transport access was essential.

Synth Museum / SynthMuseum Studio....TWO different things.

yes the museum shut down, but Martin relocated (East Anglia?) and opened a conventional studio but with Moog Modulars in, that was ten years ago

its this I am trying to locate (Not the old museum)

is there any up to date info on Martin Newcomb?

as the studio is not listed anywhere I assume its a private venture

I confirm that the museum is closed , and the gear has been sold ,
I was lucky to go to the museum many times and I've bought some synths from Martin
