MuRF: Bank B has rhythmic popping and crackling

I play a keyboard through a MuRF. It sounds fine with animations from Bank A, but in Bank B (which contains more interesting patterns), there is a loud popping in time with the effect that ruins the sound. I don't have an expression pedal to control the LFO sweep in Bank B, so I wondered if that was the cause. Any similar experiences and/or solutions?

hey spacesake
I know that this is an old post but did you solved the "popping murf" problem??I'm asking cause I have the same problem, my murf also pops too. Actually it pops so loud that it actually ruins the whole pattern. So? can you help? Can anybody help?

i first got serial #105 of the murf and it clicked when i tried sweeping with the sweep CV in. off course when in bank b the clicking was there all the time since those patterns are automatically swept. with increasing voltage fed to sweep/LFO in, the freq of the clicking increased.
i returned it and got #106 instead and it works fine.
wish it would sweep a little wider though, even when im multiplying the signal 3 times using the 251 its not enough for my taste
i suspect yours are faulty
