Prodigy questions

I just got my Prodigy and noticed that there isn't a model number on the back and the serial number is written in black marker. It looks like someone may have recoverd the panel at some point but I'm not sure how they are supposed to look. Anyone have any ideas? Also, the pots and switches are very touchy. For example while turning the interval pot the sound cuts out completely but will come back on if I tap the knob. Is this pot dirty or just worn out? Thanks in advance for your comments.

Hi,

congratulation to your prodigy. Because of the high age the pots and switches will often not work properly. When you are an electrician or you know someone who is an electrician it will be no problem to repair. You can disassemble the device easily and solder out the switches and pots. Clean them with alcohol. You can also disassemble the pots. Clean the carbonlayer and lift up the wiper a little bit. I have done this with my prodigy. All switches and pots are working now proper.

Best regards and merry christmas
