OS + USB solo

I got a USB solo to help w sequencing my old school with Ableton.
I am wondering if anyone else is using the Kenton USB Solo and has any suggestions on setup (calibration, LFO settings, ect)?
Random thought - I am getting a bit of a hiss when the solo is plugged in via usb...this doesn't show up in the recording.
Just thought I'd post to see where others are at with a similar setup.
