Glad to hear the update to my beloved LP Tribute is available. I've already looked into getting it done up here in Toronto. PM me in a bit and I'll let you know how it works out.

Thanks to all the hard working folks at Moog who keep upgrading my instrument long after the initial purchase. Have a great holiday!

Good news

It's on the bench now; new components inside, new LHC and keybed... should be rockin'! We will burn it in over the weekend and then it ought to be ready to ship on Monday. :cool:

Cheerio,

You are going to love OS 2.0, I’ve been using it for the past two weeks or so. The arp. is lots of fun to work with.

I left my TE for the chip/memory replacement and OS upgrade today, getting it back next week. I'm really looking forward to it!

My LPTE is still not upgraded.
The technician discovered that for the TEs he needs some kind of 'USB programming modul' to upgrade to the new OS after the chip replacement and/or memory upgrade.

He has tried to get in contact with Amos for over a week now but doesn't get any respons. Meanwhile my LPTE is just waiting there ... and there's a big empty space in my machine park just waiting to get filled again ...

Amos - where are you?
Please contact Robert at Fitzpatrick (Sweden) and supply him with what he needs!

I want my LPTE back!!!

Hi Assar, I'm here (at home, on the weekend)
I did not see an email from Fitzpatrick;
I'm sure it's my fault and I just missed the email.
I'll send him a USB programmer on Monday.
I thought he had one already!

this is still somewhat new for some of our service centres;
I'm trying to make sure that they all have the equipment they need
but obviously I've made a mistake.

The programmer can also be purchased directly from Silicon Laboratories;
there's a link to a URL for purchase in my instructions for this upgrade.
Probably it's more difficult for Fitzpatrick to order from Silicon Labs
than to order from Moog...

Assar, I'm sorry for the delay and I'll sort it out.

Kind regards,

Amos
