If he is correct, a handful of them will be sold. But nothing near the success w the Little Phatty. I have more faith in Moog than this.
The more the price increases, the less people will buy it, anyway. Look at the Voyager. It's not nearly as widespread as the Little Phatty, and I don't see Moog cutting enough corners to get an 8 voice synth down to a level anywhere near the Voyager price-wise, and even if they DID, the DSI stuff will always be cheaper. Moog is and always has been about quality...quality sound, quality instruments, and yes, quality prices...but you get what you pay for...including awesome customer support and FREE software upgrades.
