Thanks for the tip. But that doesn't help at all. In fact, it makes everything worse: Initializing sets all parameters back to a default value, regardless of the knob positions. After doing that, it's very unlikely that any of the parameters is in fact what the knob position would suggest. It should work the other way round: It should set all parameters to the actual knob values. But then again, isn't that what the Panel mode should do anyway?

Not sure if this has been mentioned before … Running 1.1
On some presets when I press the button the panel changes to the preset settings… on others they panel changes do not change until I play a note.
This seems to depend on whether they are presets are ones I have made or factory set ones but not in any consistent manner that I can determine and it also depends on if I play the keyboard or not before switching to and fro between presets.
Am I going nuts?

Hi Rufus,
"It's a distinct possibility."
Oh... and check to see if this is related to the above behavior:
(pg. 47)
DLAY PGM CHG
If Delay Program Change is
ON, then a preset change made while a sequence is playing will be delayed until the end of the sequence. At the downbeat of the first step, it will switch to the newly selected preset. If the new preset also contains an active sequence, it should also begin playing seamlessly at this time. If
DLAY PGM CHG is set to
OFF (default) the preset will change instantly.

Thanks for the tip Dan but DLAY PGM CHG is off and the behaviour I am noticing is not consistent in line with this parameter being on
