Well ok, i did not exactly bought it like that, but when my only time piece in the house flew halfway across the room by accident from a swift arm move I don't exactly remember what for, and broke open into pieces, I just re-assembled it with a face lift in the process ;)

Bakelite is what they're made of.
Cosmo is who makes them.

My missus bought me for my birthday the MF-103 Lunar. My jaw dropped when I heared it. The overdrive of it, combined with the sweep, makes some serious, liquid, stereo, PHAT sounds.
This is going to be in every tune I make.

Gorgeous woman, brilliant cook, buys me Moog gear. :D

So, uhh... Why do you have three of them?
Excellent work, by the way. They all look gorgeous.

I just feel like it would make more sense to sell two of them, as you would then have around $8k to buy more gear... Hoarding is not cool in my opinion.

Hoarding Minimoog D's is the exception that confirms the rule.

And, do I detect a slight hint of jealousy in there ? If that's the case, don't worry, they made over 12K of them, and most are probably still around in good shape. You're bound to find one, someday.

(the preceding comment was obviously made with tongue in cheek).

I would be happy with one good one.

What bothers me is when I read stories of people who have trashed through several minis or other instruments over the years. At least these instruments are still on the planet.

Bringing mini's back to life is a real emotional rewarding satisfaction, dont know if i put this right.
Bought my first mini in horrible shape (that was the only one i could afford) a good cleaning and resoldering brought it back to life, keycontacts cleaned.
And there right there when you first hit those key's sweet sweet sound. Probbably got lucky that there where no more problems. Sold mine tough bought another sold it again and now i have what i hope is my last mini (that stays 8)).
But still nice job on the finisch after that horrible black.
