Waiting to hear from Amos again at the moment, i think either he is away or very busy as haven't heard from him in over a week. The LP is going to London soon for a memory wipe and reprogram.

I've been away *and* very busy by turns, I'm afraid.
Everything is in process; messages have been sent.
I'm hoping we can get the repairs underway this week.
Cheers, and my apologies once again for the trouble.

Did you get it fixed?
I had this same problem, tried all the fixes with no luck. Finally I pulled out an old serial-to-midi cable and it works now. Fully calibrated too.

Nope still not quite fixed yet! Kind of a long story but it turns out that after having it's OS reprogrammed, the LP seems to in fact have an unrelated hardware fault. Amos is currently looking into something for me at the moment. Almost there though! should soon be back in full operation i hope
Just want to say that Amos is a very helpful guy, and even though this has gone on for 2 months now, i can't fault his customer service. Problems have been compounded by the fact there is a 1-2 day delay on all e-mails from Moog (never did find out the cause for this) which has meant that things have been drawn out longer than they should have been.
Just looking forward now to finally getting things sorted out for good!

I also forgot to post that I use Win98SE, so this trouble is not just for one Windows OS ver.
If you can find a serial to midi cable, and your machine has a serial port (i guess they still do?) you might try this.
I got the cable from the SoundBlaster AWE32 soundcard, we had a lot of them where I used to work and I kept a cable from one. I may have another if you cannot find one. I'll send it if I find it and you want.
Good luck! I played with my LP for 1 day before I tried the OS update and it froze, a real bummer. Very nice to have it going again.
I traded my Voyager for the LP Tribute and some cash, I really like it.

Thanks a lot for the offer, but the OS has actually been reprogrammed already. I can play the LP at the moment, but MIDI out is not working. Amos thought the missing MIDI was tied in with the hosed update, but it turns out that is not the case as it's still not working after it came back from service.

No problem.
