Almost as soon as I submitted that previous message, I tried "SE9497" instead of "SE09497" (which is what is actually on my sticker) and it worked!
O___O
lol whoops.

Thats good. Still doesnt work for me, unfortunately. I've entered my S# in every which way from sunday and it still spits on me and laughs. I had this same issue with my LP last year. Eventually, after a couple of emails to Moog, they entered it in. I do remember entering the S# exactly as it was labeled on the back to no avail. Maybe it's me.

I bought my LP used last year. How do I know wether the last owner registered it? And if so, is there a way to re-register it?

Excellent question, Stiiiiiiive. I have purchased a couple of used 'foogers in the past couple years, and I was wondering the same thing. Also, I bought my SP a little over a year ago and never registered it, oops

Is that a problem, or can I still register it and just check the box that says: lazy procrastinator?

AFAIK, it's never too late to register any Moog product. I ran into a problem with one of my 'Foogers I bought at Music-Go-Round. It had already been registered. A quick e-mail to Moog straightened it out.

If anyone is interested, I created a blank preset page for the MT. Download it
here
I posted it in the Taurus forum, but everyone seems to check here first
(jobsite I was supposed to be at this week cancelled, so it has left me with a lot of time to play!

)

hey if anybody is having trouble registering their Minitaur, just email techsupport at moogmusic. Give them your Minitaur serial and they can give you a link to download the latest beta of the official Minitaur editor. Full version should be ready by later this week / early next week at the latest, I would predict.
Even the beta version as it is now, still allows you to save and load Minitaur presets using your Mac or Windows computer. So, you can start designing and saving sounds without any need for pen and paper...
cheers,
Amos

Thanks for the reply, Amos. I sent an email out yesterday. Excited to test out the editor! Although, my first synth was a Rogue...I kinda like that I have to pull out the blank layouts to "save" a preset, all old school like
