Geez, EricK! I'm glad no one was hurt! It's probably not as bad as it looks, though it's definitely bad enough!
If there's anything I can do, let me know!

Re: Thread Topic
Hello,
Glad to see no one was injured.
You may want to contact these people:
Belfor Intnl
http://www.com.belfor.com/index.php?id=51&L=0
Belfor USA
http://www.us.belfor.com/index.php?id=186
They are the best at property damage restoration from flood, fire, etc.
I briefly worked for their electronics division (then called Relectronic Service Corporation).
It was at that time, a subsidiary of Siemens, and still has many offices here in the US under the name Belfor.
Even if you aren't in need of their services, they can offer you some good counsel based on the photos you've posted on this thread.
Their pdf brochures further down on page:

All the Best,
Lawrence

Thanks everyone for the well wishes.
Basically its not as bad as it looks, theres just fibreglass everywhere and were still dealing with severe thunderstorms and intermitant tornado watches. The timber man is going to cut about 35 trees and were looking into a hefty storm shelter, but they cost more than the Voyager!
I appreciate everyones blessings and hey, were alive so it can't be better.
Its just a 108 year old piano and a little hole in the roof. It can be fixed...its just the whole house is in disaray.
By the way, Prime, nice looking systems there. Pretty Voyager and Ribbon controller. Is that anniversary Edition or signature? I think the ribbons go better when the badge is on the side rather than in the center.
Thanks again everyone!
Eric

It is a Signature Edition btw...and i think so too that the ribbon looks better when the badge is on the side....

I think they compliment eachother perfectly soundwise.....the beautifull pads from the TI go perfect with the lead or bass sounds from the Voyager.psyhead wrote:hey PRIME how do u find the virus ti going with the voyager?? Sonically would they compliment each other well in a mix???
Wanted to know as I just ordered the new TI and will be orderin a Voyager OS soon...quite the opposites i know hehe but thats how i roll.....
Guess they are a perfect blend and well made for eachother...good choice psyhead.
May i ask which TI you have ordered...??
If you send me a PM with your mail adress i could send you a zip file containing about 6000 patches for the TI which i gathered along the time i have my Desktop.

I'm actually running my Voyager and my Virus B through a mixer right now so that I can play either separately or mix to play them at the same time (using the Moog as the midi controller for the Virus). They sound pretty good together, especially when I play an ambient pad patch chord on the Virus with one hand & riff a Moog bassline with the other.
My only complaint is that every time I change the preset on the Voyager, it changes the patch on the Virus. Is there a way around this?

my meagre studio rig
When I play out I mostly play bass, either my EBMM Stingray 5 fretless, or my Ovation Magnum 4 string solidbody.
At my studio I have my awesome little Realistic/Moog MG1 which satisfies most of my analog sound needs. Do not underestimate these little beasts! They are not just a Rogue without pitch/mod wheels. For one they have more modulation options and the "polyphony" which I for one happen to like! It's basically the best cheesy casio organ sound EVER. Great thru a fuzz. My other keyboards include the much maligned Korg Poly 800. Two of them. I have done a lot of the mods to them that are out there on the net. Such as the "moogslayer" mod. It doesnt make it any closer to a moog, but its nice to have knobs and self osc. They have a much harder sound than the Moog but a far weaker filter of course! They give me that gritty industrial pulse when I need it. For even more edge I have a DX21S (with built in speakers!) Its almost impossible to program. Not only does it have that lame menu system. But the buttons are totally unreliable. So you have to try each key combo 4-8 times before it works! I love the dirty clav though for a kind of Devo vibe. Or some of the other patches I have done that sound like pitched glass or a metalophones. And it shares the bass patch of the DX100 so it's go that going for it.
Of course I have the obligatory moogerfooger lowpass for my bass. I also like to run my EHX pedals on the Moog MG1. It sounds great with a little muff and the Frequency analyzer ringmod. Or more commonly I put 2 or 3 chorus and flanger pedals on it set to very conservative amounts of effect. Cumulatively it sounds huge!
Oh yeah, and almost everything ends up with with my synsonics drums or Waldorf Attack (vst) as the beat. I just love fizzy analog sounding drum machines. (please moog make a drum machine!).
Still trying to get a Mini though. I had one on loan for a couple of years and cried and pleaded when they took it back.

Hate to take this thread off EricK's tragedy for a moment, but I talk with him every now and again, and Thursday he seemed to be doing quite well. I'd just like to update my rig photo. http://www.flickr.com/photos/32147775@N ... 6/sizes/l/ Thanks, guys!

Absolutely incredible! I'll post a sound sample when I get a chance. Thanks for reminding me! It's just a matter of running my tape deck into Garage Band and creating a track...as soon as I find the track, that is.latigid on wrote:How does the LP sound through the KL Mini Filter?
