Tim,
They will ship Fedex if you ask them to.

In all honesty when I first heard about the T3, after looking at several auctions for T1s going for 4-5000 dollars, the first thing that crossed my mind was "Buy two sell them both for 3 grand a piece when the dealers run out and they become scarce." My conscience wouldn't let me do it because I have critisized ebay rapists for overcharging just because its a Moog and they can and I couldn't partake in that.
I figured if I couldn't get 3000 for them I stood to gain at least 300 bucks from the deal. I don't see anything shady with that. How many people outside of the forum really knew about the T3 when the idea first came up? Dealers were only smart to preorder and turn a profit. In this day and age I think its worth it to see a music store stay open by making a little money than have to shut down and force us all to buy everything sight unseen from catalogs.

I say this having gotten the discount.

I support Ma and Pa stores and its only sound business practice to buy low and sell high. People that want a Taurus will get a taurus if they have to pay 2000 for it from a dealer who paid 1695. By default they didn't capitalize on the preorder discount so as long as they buy it, and Moog gets the money and the dealer gets the money, what is wrong with that? Buy low, sell high is what capitalism is all about, right? (Not that Im an avid supporter of capitalism, but thats a different debate, different forum.)

I think if they were scalping, they would be trying to sell them at the convnenence of getting them NOW for more than 2000, not just regular dealer price. Scalpers usually get the face value PLUS.

I think I hear the mothership coming.
