Im not THAT bothered about it, just scratched a bit.

See, when the idea of the T3 first came up there were people who absolutely refused to buy something sight unseen and they didn't have the faith that Moog could even pull it off. To think that those people who intentionally waited until they could see andhear it can get one before the actual people who bought one sight unseen is messed up in principle.

BUT, its not Moogs fault, as Im sure they fill the orders as they get them. If I as an early adopter ordered 500 Units, I could have ended up with 2-501 before anyone else got theirs if thats how the order came in.

I can wait for mine, but man Im just sort of really itching to touch them and add them to my rig, midi them up to the Voyager and start sequencing arpeggios.

Not yet--told late April

not yet R. I got really busy this week with work but I need to follow up with Moog on changing to FedEx shipping (Eric tipped me to this). If I get any info i will of course pass along.

i'm posting these resellers with stock in case any of you are thinking of picking up another set. i have been seriously considering this. i'd rather spend 1995 now rather than 4995 later - right?

Eric, are you finally going to join the elite ranks of those who use their Moogs with Logic? :D

I finally contacted Moog to secure FedEx shipping vs UPS shipping. It's a go. Here's a snippet of Siobhan's response:

"We are building/shipping as fast as we can.  When we are ready to ship, I will send you an email confirming total. You should be seeing this in the next few weeks."

just an FYI for you guys.

I've been resisting the urge to email in. They are of course a small company with <900 people probably hounding them. And that's just for the Taurus. It usually takes a week between replies, sometimes longer. Also consider their marketing/sales people might not work full-time or every day.

Moognored (maybe Eric can help me with my definition):

Symptoms: A depressed state arising from the process (or perception) of not receiving emails from Moog Music in an immediate fashion. Particularly prevalent on the release of a new line and around public holidays. Significant causation has been ascribed to messages being blocked or spam-filtered.

Remedies: Patience, forum counselling, playing music on all other great equipment owned.

No I think you pretty much got that one covered.

I did figure out a few more symptoms of Moog Purgatory though (cause I ordered and received a Murf.)

Moog Purgatory Continued:

New research into this condition indicates that sufferers will not only continuously check the tracking number AFTER the "out for delivery" message has once been displayed, but will incessantly text message everyone the tracking information updates up to that point. Patient will also have acute yet startling increases in hearing abillity; they are able to hear cars on other roads that prompt them to check to see if it is the delivery truck. Incidentally, it is unknown to researchers as to why some sufferers don't hear the ACTUAL truck arrive as they are pleasantly surprised to hear the doorbell ring with their package.

No, no, you got it all wrong. While waiting for the truck, you have to tweet on Twitter at least every minute and post pictures of you waiting by the door on your Facebook wall, all while researching the missing link between capitalism and polyphony.

Thanks T. I last emailed Siobhan back in mid January and she commented that I was in the first half of the pre-orders. All I know is that after you get yours, I better be getting mine!!! 8)

That's so true! I'm not in Moog Purgatory at the moment, but I'm STILL trying to find that missing link between polyphony and capitalism.

I usually smoke about 6 cigarettes a day (I know, bad vice, but you gotta have at least one). I smoked damn near a full pack the day my Taurus arrived, all from the time I read "out for delivery" until they arrived, just 4 hours later. Moogatory can sure take it's toll on you!
