That is the most flattering picture I have ever seen of ANY guitar!

Minitaur, CP-251, EHX #1 Echo, EHX Space Drums/Crash Pads, QSC GX-3, Pyramid stereo power amp, Miracle Pianos, Walking Stick ribbon controller, Synthutron.com, 1983 Hammond organ, dot com modular.

Eric, this post is sooo spot on. It says it better than any words.
Yet it remains a mystery why Moog (with all respect) chose to take the design of the guitar in that direction.
I am sure that they handed over the guitar building to a very skilled person, but apparently not to someone who understands the aesthetic foundation of the Moog brand.

It looks to be well crafted and it looks like a design that would be attractive to middle-aged men. Studios and serious musicians are probably more concerned with the sound. Frankly, Moog probably made the right guitar for the demographic this would reach at this price point.
I do remember a certain member of the moog family tip-toeing around calling it ugly, basically by saying that it was the design prefered by the developer of the guitar.
That said, I think it is garish, gaudy and dated. It looks like a late 80's/early 90's carvin guitar... Oh, here's one now:

Never thought I'd comment on a guitar forum, but that was great!

Yes, that's right, now here's the deal: you can have your Moog guitar, but you can ONLY have it in pink over a AAAAAA maple quilt.
It's, like, a test.
I bet Lou Reed's is pink.

Oh man I saw lou reed and he was horroble.
He was strumming E E E E "Im Mad" E E E E "Im mad" It was between Buddy Guy and Santana though, and Rob Wasserman was on Bass though. I really triewd to appreciate it but failed.

But now, with a Moog guitar, Lou Reed will be able to say:
"E E E E 'Im Mad' E E E E 'Im mad'"
Followed by:
"That really opens up the door."

It is true that guitar is flattering, but its all about the functions. It is not up to my standards

. Maybe the next one will be

You have one! Not up to your standards? I'm confused. WHY MUST YOU MOCK ME!?

To begin with, it should have the circuits from the 102 and 103, either wired for parallel or serial configuration.
Who is mocking?
I have Moog shoelaces!
