for uk users how about putting up a screen of prince charles, the queen or just tony blair?
or maybe charlotte church?
or what about putting up a sudoku program on boot up so you can do a few sudokus before playing?
or remove the little old screen and put a webcam in there so you can communicate with everyone else via the web?
yeah, or rip out the touchscreen and replace it with a color screen that plays the numa numa yay video.

Ouch Martin, that was a pretty harsh MMV review on
Harmony-Central.
Though I do like the Sudoku idea, hee hee

Boy it sure is. I have had nothing but good luck with AE (knocks on the black wood cabinet). Sorry yours has been so troubled. Perhaps all the bugs are worked out now.

If I saw Phoney Bliar's face when I started up my Voyager, the thing would go straight through the window!

Unless something has changed, isn't there a problem labeling the Voyager as a MinimMoog product in the UK? I thought the product was sold as the "Voyager by Bob Moog" to avoid infringing on the guy who owns the 'Minimoog' name there.
Since Moog Music had to delete any 'MiniMoog' references on the hardware and in the manual in order to sell the Voyager in the UK, wouldn't a start-up screen have to conform to this as well?
Greg
Yes it is called "Voyager by Bob Moog" but there's nothing stopping you from importing Moog branded Voyager's from another country. Would work out cheaper too! Mine is a Moog Minimoog Voyager, and I bought it from a UK dealer.
As for the Moog references in the startup screen, yes, it would have to be removed if sold here, but there's nothing to stop you updating the software to change it.

Hi bichuelo,
Where can you activate Bob Moog's face on boot in the latest 3.6 2016 version?
- click button MASTER to get into its LCD menu
- navigate to item "5.1 Copyright Notice"
- press the "+1" button to get into the Factory Setup mode
- navigate in the Factory Setup menu to item "4.2 Power-ON Screen"
- Select the old Power-On Logo
- done!
Turn down your speakers volume or mixer.
Switch the Voyager off and on again after a brief moment.
You should see the picture.
This setting is lost on some updates. But you can reactivate it that way again.
This picture was created November 2005 by me.
I am not a painter. And I am not talented in doing things like this. But somehow this picture had to be done. It is my tribute for Bob Moog's wonderful work and ideas on synthesizers I own.
Thanks to Rudi Linhardt for his idea of an optional Bob Moog tribute power-on screen. And for including the picture I created.
