The reason this kb amount parameter doesn't go the full 0-4095 is that there is some internal parameter-scaling going on. It's calibrated at the factory to give 1 octave per KB-octave tracking, and the funny numbers you're seeing are the result.

This calibration is not documented in a way that you can re-do it yourselves, in the case where it might need to be re-calibrated.
I will bring this up at today's engineering meeting; perhaps we can release a service document explaining how to do it properly.

Hi, i found this post about KB amount. I ve purchased a new slim phatty and i found that (in precision mode) all parameters go 0-4095 by knobs except for KB amount that go 0-3833. There is a fix for this on slim phatty?

It is explained of page 2 of this thread how to increase the keyboard tracking amount. Beware though, the keyboard amount is supposed to be calibrated so max is at 100% tracking, that is why it does not go up to 4095.
