Ran across a used MF-101 in a store and grabbed it. Included the EP-1 pedal and gig bag.
What am I doing with a lowpass filter pedal with all the vintage gear I have?
I'm using it on sampled brass, reeds, and strings from my Kurzweil 1000 rack romplers. Sometimes they're too friggin' bright.
There must be different circuits throughout the MF-101 production - mine is a "Big Briar" with a CA3080 inside - the 3080 hasn't been made for a decade

It hasn't arrived yet, but will let you know as soon as it's installed...
But since I already paid for it, I thought I was entitled to list it as "purchased".
EDIT I've just learn that it was shipped earlier this week, and should be here soon...

A blast from the past, just picked up an old Moog model PC-30 controller, brand new in the box for $7.00. A strange Moog controller indeed! This unit is capable of creating "Dual Tone Multi Frequencies" and has an onboard playback sequencer with up to 30 storage locations of up to 16 tones each. All instantly recalled at the push of 30 dedicated touch pads. The unit features an 8 digit LED readout along with a touch pad for the sequence tone entry. It also sports a built in speaker and modular connections on the rear of the unit. And best of all, can even be set up to give you the time of day. How cool is that? An official 80's Moog LED time piece.
Looks to be in "Mint" condition with all the original packaging unopened! What a find!

A close up of the back of the box with all the interesting features of this Moog product. It promises to save me money!
A look at the bottom of the controller. Too bad I have to break the seal to try it out?
Inside the included manual, an order sheet for accessories from Moog Music.
I could probably use those "Modular Cables" in either 2 foot or 7 foot lengths. Not sure what the 4 conductors for the cables would be? 2 CV's, gate, and ground? There are modular sockets on the back, I guess to hook it up to your modular. I'll have to read the manual.
A close up of the touch panel and that cool Moog Telecomunications logo.
Same address as on many of my Buffalo era moog products.
For seven bucks, I could not pass this up. Guess I could tap into that tone generator or sequencer. Or just make a phone call on my land line. But Moog was not the first synthesizer manufacturer to dabble in the telecomunications buisness. Aries also had a phone enhancer in the back of their catalog. The AR-830. Wonder how that would sound with my Aries AR-327 multi-mode filter? Probably not as fat as the Moog.

A small paragraph made me chuckle:
"Dictograph - the Communication Company that's number ONE in NEW TECHNOLOGY - NEW DESIGN - NEW IDEAS - UNBELIEVABLY LOW PRICES! "
And then right under that: Manufactured by Moog Music Inc.
New technology, yes.
New design, yes.
New ideas, yes.
Unbelievably low prices, meh... no so sure about that...
Maybe for THAT particular device, yes...
Nice find BTW, CZ !

Just noticed the color of that Moog logo looks familiar?

Guess Moog has been using that orange since the 80's?

So, Moog was integrating phone applications, personal productivity tools and synthesizers
FORTY years before the iPad was even conceived?
Forget the Animoog: with that kind of experience behind them, I should be able to run a polyphonic modular on my blackberry by now

Nice find CZ. To complete your Moog collection you need to find the 1980s Super Chexx Hockey game, whose scoreboard was manufactured by Moog Music. Check out the Moog logo:

Yes, if you are in the US you can get one at 699 and probably less.
The straight conversion maybe correct, but you may be forgetting the small issues of shipping, tax and import duty if you buy from the US.
FYI shipping from Moog site is 151.60 USD, on top of that I would have to pay 21% tax, plus quite a high percentage of import duty (not sure how much) and 10 euros for the customs paperwork.
From musicstore.de it's listed at 679 euros.... so yeah, like I said, 700 euros delivered to me.
