[quote="nathanscribe"]I decided to educate myself, and cover Depeche Mode's
Any Second Now from the album
Speak And Spell (1981).
All parts courtesy of the Moog Little Phatty - including the drums. I did run an external white noise source into the audio input for the downward swoop, but otherwise it's purely Phatty.
Reverb is Lexicon MPX1, EQ and mixing on the A&H Zed R16 firewire mixer/interface, panning and volume automation, and a touch of light compression, in Logic.
Enjoy/quote]
Great cover, I'm a long time DM fan also and have to say you did a great song emulating the sounds of the original. I'm currnetly working on The Sun and the Rainfall and have a half finished attempt at But not Tonight awaiting some tweaking, I have a tendency to end up playing Gigi D'Agostinos L'amour Toujours when I work on But not Tonight as he clearly did a bassline borrowing. I get what you say about Speak and Spell, we'll just not mention "Whats your name"

Heyo everyone!
Just finished this track, which is a collaboration with a friend of mine (machine_logic)... We are extremely proud of it and hope you all enjoy it also! It has been described as "Its as if Wendy Carlos and Wolfgang Gartner met in 1970 and made a song"...
Anyway, we made extensive use of the Little Phatty and the Voyager to make this beast. I hope you all dig it. Constructive feedback is ALWAYS welcome...

Listening to it now. Good work, man! I think we all need to come together and release a compilation album with all of our music on it. We could call it "Moogsound" or something like that.

A new tune up on Soundcloud:
The road to hell is paved with good inventions
Little Phatty, Korg Polysix, Dark Energy, Crumar Bit01 and some Bassboy.
Recorded and mixed in Cubase.
Enjoy ... hopefully!

Lots of Moog SP patches (including the bassline) and heavy use of MF-102 and quite a bit of MF-108 business going on in this track.

Great track, Assar! That Polysix has an incredible tone to it. How would you say it sounds in comparison to a 106?
Very Kraftwerk in my opinion. Beautiful piece my friend!

Thanks, Kenneth!
Yes, my old Polysix is still going strong. Even stronger, now it has midi.
I don't know about the 106, haven't tried it. Have you?

Yeah, I have a 106, though it has spent the majority of the time I have owned it in the shop. Very unreliable so I have heard. Looking for something that will be able to spend more time at my house being played.

I am particularly proud of this one. The deep bass during the breakdown is made with the phatty. Let me know what you think!

Hello folks, I have posted the following 70's era Tangerine Dream Live & Studio tribute track, created using my LP Stage II and Moogerfoogers amongst other synths. Like a good TD bootleg it spends a while setting up the atmosphere and then some arpeggiator rhythms come in later.

Best wishes to all.
Thanks.

Whats the issue with your juno 106? Do voices keep dying? I would have the coating removed from the chips, as the coating is the known issue with this specific problem. Its a cheap fix too, just takes a tech a few seconds to get it off. Or you could soak them in amonia yourself, but there's a risk factor to it though.
