Heres an updated pic of my kit.

I don't think that I ever included my Ring Mod in that list either.

Updating soon..

Really simple so far:

Moog LP -> Malekko Heavy Industries 600ms dark delay -> Cheap Mixer -> Audio Interface

I'm in the process of acquiring a lot more crazy pedals to put in the chain, namely a nice Analog chorus, some good Fuzz/Distortion, and we'll see what comes next. (The LP is pretty cool with just it's own overdrive and the delay.)

Electro Harmonix makes great analog stuff thats relatively inexpensive but lacking the CV ins and outs that would make them so much more controllable.

Yeah I tried a EH Flanger Hoax and really didn't like the sound at all, perhaps there are others that are worth playing with.

(I'm thinking I might just not like Flangers on synths... very possible, as I also tried the Moog).

Freqbox or a RingMod are still possible for the future. Foot pedals are very nice to have :)

My live Rig:

General Music Pro 2 Piano
Kurzweil PC1-X
Korg CX-3 clonewheel
Korg Wavestation
MiniMoog Voyager Performer
MemoryMoog Plus Synthesiser
In the Rack:
Emu Vintage Keys (mainly used for the Mellotron patches I made)
All Stereo powered by 2 Alesis Sumo 300 Keyboard Amps

Retired Items (not worth anything, but handy for some sounds in the studio):
Kurzweil K2000
Ensonic Mirage
Yamaha DX7

Currently working on the live rig - trying to get the most out of proximity. Working with Standtastic and Ultimate Support stands. My biggest wish is that someone out there would make a keyboard stand for my Voyager that would allow it to "float" around to any top tier I want just by pushing it around. Wouldn't that be a hoot?? This is of course for those of us that can't afford 3 or 4 voyagers in their rig so that one is handy at every position. Someday, perhaps. Any mechanical engineers out there? Rick would love it... imagine giving your mini a shove and having it roll around to the oposite end of your rig... "wizzzzzzzzzzzz-roll-roll-roll...... stop"
That would be so cool.

By the way, I happen to see this on ebay....

Item number: 350036019972

It's a General Music Pro 2 - Recommended by Ketih and Rick, and I PROMISE you that you'll NEVER, ever ever play a better piano. EVER. Probably the most inspiring keyboard I've ever played. Buy it stricktly for the piano - the feel... the sound.... You will NOT be sorry.

Go get it. These are rare and hard to find.

Good luck.
Chris

This is the OSP mixer rack case, the Foogers, the Synthesizers.com rack frame and the Modusonics 921a Oscillator Driver. (No power or associated 921B's as of yet so it functions for aesthetic purposes only.)

If it had power, could the oscillator driver drive FreqBoxes?

I don't think so because I believe that there is a special harness required for up to three 921B's. It contains the freq and pulse width modulation inputs, the 921B contains AC/DC modulation inputs and Waveshape outputs.

With shipping the Driver is 440 to your door. About 100 for a desktop power supply. 15 dollars shipping if you get only 1 module, making the 921B $700. Its insane expensive, but its an authentic reproduction Moog module.

This is my Moog 15 Oberheim SEM combo that I assembled in 1977. The wheelhouse assembly was built by moog custom engineering at the time and includes a pitch and two mod wheels. Almost all patchable points were brought out of the Oberheim for better integration with the Moog. Crude homemade breakout boxes were built for the 1125 sample-hold controller and a MediaMix joystick(not shown).

The 921A is just a kind of input and converter to run up to three 921B oscillators. it isn't producing a sound. Just voltages.
It is needed, because it is the exponential converter (V/oct) of the 921B oscillators which are only giving you V/Hz curve.
Without the 921A it is just some useless but very classic looking module.
keep on turning these Moog knobs

MOOG MF-101
MOOG MF-102
MOOG MF-103
MOOG MF-104Z
MOOG MF-105
MOOG MF-107
MOOG CP-251
GUYATONE SLOW VOLUME

Amp:
Traynor YCV40WR + extn cab

So far I haven't set the order in stone, but it's close. I use a bunch of fx in the delay loop, so I have it set-up in a modular approach, in 4 pedal boards... The EQ and sonic stomp are in my amps FX loop.
Vibration emanates from all things, even nothing. Using awareness to translate vibration into "music" is something that I am whole heartedly grateful for.

Van,
Welcome to the forum! What a great first post! THats a grande system 15! I originally sought to buy that very synth (though built brand new) and I think that the whole synth costa 13,830 dollars, thats with the tolex covered cabinet and the duophonic keyboard.
I actually haven't seen a picture of a 15 except the one from Moogarchives, which is directly from the sales literature, so its great to see a pic of that increadible beast.

I opted instead to get just a custom system modeled after but not quite the 15, since I didn't really see the need for the cp sized panels. I couldn't figure out exactly how I was going to mount them either since I just have my stuff built in the rack cabinet already. I don't know how to deal with the half sized panels as far as finding the rails to mount them.

So mine is going to eliminate the filter bank, cp panels, the extra amp (maybe haven't decided yet) and add a 4 channel mixer, envelope follower, dual trigger delay, quad multiples, sample and hold, and instead of the duophonic keyboard, control it with either the MicroMoog or the Voyager whenever I get it.

Yeah my 921a is very functionless without power and the 921B's but it sure looks great hahaha. Hopefully Ill get the 921B's very soon. Note the difference my 921a is that instead of a rocker switch it sports the same one from the 921b.
