fast decay for filter eg is CC 117, for amp eg is 118.

CC95 now toggles "active panel" on/off... perhaps this is the source of your other confusion?
I have verified on my end that saving a preset does not change the state of any of the parameters.
thanks amos
all good now ;)

cheers

Mac OS 10.8.4
Logic Express 9.1.8 [64bit]
Sub P. Firmware 1.4.0
Editor ver. 1.0.2

Firmware update:

Version 1.4.0. Great! (any release notes, or no need?)

Will there be an updated manual in the future, featuring all the new improvements? (loved the addition of the Panic feature in 1.3.9)

Hello,

I am new to this forum, and purchased a Sub Phatty last Friday.

Quite happy about it...

Some questions :

1. Could you tell me please if it is possible to know which firwmare version I have.

2. And also, would you recommend me to go to firmwre version 1.4.0?

3. Do you confirm that those firmware which are talked about here are not officially released because they are still work in progress? And therefore this forum is more for beta testers and developers?

Many thanks and hello from Belgium!

440Hz.

Hi 440Hz!

1.) Your Sub Phatty shipped with firmware v1.0.3. The currently-installed firmware version can be viewed on the preferences page of the Sub Phatty Editor software, which should be released this week. All registered Sub Phatty owners will receive an email with download information for the Editor.

2. Yes I'd definitely recommend to update to version 1.4.0. This version has been approved for official release and will be distributed along with the Editor software. It's also shipping on all new Sub Phatty synths since this month.

3. The forum is for everyone who is interested in the instruments... some folks are more adventurous and choose to test the beta versions, and we all benefit. In future though, the more technical development discussions will probably move to a private forum. There are conversations here about music and sounds, techniques and influences, and much more. Please feel welcome to join in.

kind regards from Asheville,

Amos

Hi,
I have noticed some midi issues since 1.4.
Note freezing from time to time while sequenced and have to press the panic buttons.
Never happened before.

Hi ul303, are you sending MIDI via USB or DIN?

I'm looking at a USB issue now (the same thing that is causing NoFutureNoCore to lose USB MIDI connection) -- if you're using USB MIDI also, it could be the same thing. If you're getting stuck notes using only DIN MIDI, then it's something else... let me know, thanks :)

Hi Amos,

I use Midi DIN for sequencing.
SP is connected as well using USB midi but it is not activated within Live (I use it only for editor in standalone mode as it does not work for me as vst as you know).

Note priority stuck on Low 1.4.0 anyone else ?

I just discovered the Global Note Priority parameter seems to be stuck on Low Note Priority setting no matter what setting you choose. Can anyone else confirm this ?

I fixed my Sub Phatty by re-loading 1.4.0. I dunno why this worked but it did :D
