one last question guys...
I had problems when using the Moog Librarian program (couldn't get my voyager to send a bank but could if I did a preset at a time) so I switched to SysEx Librarian and managed to back up apparently without a problem. so far so good. Now I'm ready to upgrade thanks for the brilliant help I've received from everyone. One thing that makes me anxious is that I might get so far (beyond the deleting os question) and I'll find that I can't load the new system. Is this the end of the world (something that would make me very sad) or would the situation be retrievable?
Please excuse my anxiety but this is my first time (I'm sure this will adjust when I'm more experienced.
