The new Rush tour started last night in Albuquerque. Not 100% sure, but looking closely at some of the photos
that have surfaced it would appear that Geddy has the T3!

Don't forget he had two T1's on his side of the stage.LeChuck wrote:I guess I had always assumed he played that part by interfacing to the Minimoog. But he does have different sound/filter settings on the Minimoog, and he's definitely playing the part with his feet in the performances I've seen. And since he uses the regular Taurus preset in other parts of the song, I guess he's switching between that and Variable on the fly. Interesting!

Re: Xanadu BY RUSH
Geddy hasn't used real Taurus live for over a decade - he's been triggering samples with a pair of old Korg MIDI pedals. It's hard to tell from these photos of the new "Time Machine" stage, but it appears the Korgs are still in service, and have been given the "Time Machine" cosmetic treatment. Neil's new DW drum kit is a visual tour-de-force, with matching custom Sabian Paragon cymbals & super-cool copper hardware. Everyone here should immediately recognize the small but phat-sounding upper keyboard synth, used for the majority of keyboard solos....
