I guess you have to be a capitalist in situations like these.
You got it right the 1st time. It's all about the Karma. What you spread around comes around.
I have no hard feelings getting a great deal on a piece of equipment if I plan on using. If I resell it, I hopefully (sometime greed can get the better of me) resell it at a good deal to pass it on.

Don't get me wrong too, Im not dissing anyone who got a steal on their gear, i guess im old fashioned in the sence that an honest transaction is a good one. I mean on one hand if someone sells a Ming Dynasty vase in a garage sale then they obviously don't know what they have, but at the same time its just the righteous thing to do to let them know that they might want more. I definately would tell them if I knew I wasn't going to buy IT whatever it may be.
I just think I would feel bad about doing that to someone. And I want to feel good about something like that that I buy. I don't want to step on someone to get something like that at a steal, but it sure woudl be nice. Its almost as nice as getting one for free.
Some people, even if you tell them how much it might be worth they don't want to go through the hassle and would likely just give it to you for the cheap price.
I also don't want to be so honest that i screw myself out of a good purchase. Its a delicate line i guess.
