The change happened at least a year ago (old thread). The white ones just showed up this month.
Anyway, I really like the white ones. I don't think you'll regret it.
If I had the money I'd replace all of mine with white, just to max out the Stanley Kubrick 2001 look in my studio.

also bacteria gathers easier on smooth surfaces than rough surfaces. Could be an issue with bacteria. My Ring Mod and Phaser are smooth surfaces.

You would think that a pourus surface would be harder to clean, therefore being more condusive to bacterial growth. More talk like this and Ill have to take some alcohol gel to my foogers haha.

I just bought another moogerfooger rack mount kit. The rack is the rougher finish. Don't have any foogers with the new finish. My old rack matches the smooth finish of the foogers. I prefer the older finish.
