The truth is that Roland is going to sell a whole lot of those, and you're going to see them all over music videos.
The keytar is back... how long until Yamakorg releases their own?

Personally Id buy one. I kindof think its pretty sweet they have a portable dantom like that.
Ill bet secretly that all of you want to strap that behemoth on, turn the fans on so it blows your hair and make all of these rocker faces while you strut yall's stuff like Prince or the guy from Devo.
lolol
Own up, its alright!

I will NEVER strap that POS Roland on!

Even though I slightly resemble that guy from Devo, silver just isn't my color. It doesn't look good on me. I'll wait for Yamaha to release theirs. I've always liked Yamaha's keytars.

I'm pro-keytar. I just wish they'd re-released the AX-7....you know, the ones people bid a zillion dollars for on ebay.

That was THE keytar! Second only to the Liberation!

I have a small collection of remotes. Two of them are Moogs!

Casio AZ-1 still my favorite, has the most controllable bender.
I wish the Liberation I have, had the wheel instead of the ribbon.

That was a strange option?
Interesting collection,i've still got my kx5,what's the 2 wooden appearance ones 4th and 5th from the left?

Liberation had good expression tools, but the filter is one of the wimpiest of the Moog lot. They're not good bass synths either. If there were a way to MIDIfy it to turn it into a MIDI controller, I would have kept it.

The 4th is a one of a kind custom Moog 1150 ribbon controller I made myself. (Not bad for someone that does not know how to use S-triggers?)

The 5th one is a Lag LeKey with a serial number of 5. Very nicely made to resemble a Fender with a maple neck, sunburst, and Fender knob. Probably not many of these made.

Interesting. You know, I do think that for some reason that synth is just the funkiest one though? SOmething about the filtercutoff being on the neck really makes it more expressive (from what ive sen in youtube videos).

r.e. Liberation midification, don't quote me on this, but I believe the Novation bass station rack by Novation featured a midi to cv converter, that could also work in reverse, i.e. CV to midi. The liberation control box has a CV out I believe, as such, you could patch it into the rack, and use it to control the rack sounds (and others on subsequent modules etc?). If that's the case, then the Liberation can be used as a midi controller? OM
